Ingredients: 3 tablespoons, ice water; 2 tablespoons, sour cream; 1¼ cups (6¼ ounces/177 grams), all-purpose flour; 1½ teaspoons, sugar; ½ teaspoon, table salt; 8 tablespoons, unsalted butter, cut into ½-inch pieces and chilled; ¾ cup (3¾ ounces/106 grams), all-purpose flour; ½ cup packed (3½ ounces/99 grams), brown sugar; 1 teaspoon, table salt; ½ teaspoon, ground cinnamon; ⅛ teaspoon, ground cloves; ⅛ teaspoon, ground ginger; ⅛ teaspoon, ground nutmeg; 2 tablespoons, unsalted butter, cut into ½-inch pieces and chilled; 1 cup, molasses; 1 , large egg, beaten; 1 teaspoon, baking soda; ¾ cup, boiling water
