Steve is a senior staff photographer at America's Test Kitchen and the chief photographer for Cook's Country. After a chance encounter in a newspaper office in 2010 led him to a role as a photo editor working on the very first iteration of the America's Test Kitchen Cooking School, he spent the next few years carrying a camera around the kitchen, documenting test cooks as they developed recipes for cookbooks and magazines. Eventually, Steve shifted into the role of staff photographer, focusing on innovative cookbook projects and taking on photography and videography for Cook's Country both in the studio and on the road, cris-crossing the nation documenting the folks who make the food we love. When he's not behind a camera or on a plane (window seat, please), Steve can be found taking on cooking projects in his own kitchen, attempting to take in entire museum collections in one day, looking for good light on walks around cities, or looking for a seat at the bar for a quick bite and a pet-nat.
