Ingredients: 2 , Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 1/4-inch pieces; 2 cups (10 ounces/283 grams), all-purpose flour; 1/3 cup (2⅓ ounces/66 grams), granulated sugar; 1 tablespoon, baking powder; 1 teaspoon, table salt; 1 teaspoon, ground cinnamon; 1/4 teaspoon, ground nutmeg; 3/4 cup, apple cider; 2 large, eggs, lightly beaten; 2 tablespoons, unsalted butter, melted; 3 cups, peanut or vegetable oil, for frying; 2 cups (8 ounces/227 grams), confectioners' sugar; 1/4 cup, apple cider; 1/2 teaspoon, ground cinnamon; 1/4 teaspoon, ground nutmeg
