Maple-Cinnamon Cream Cheese Spread
A flavorful, spreadable cream cheese is a great alternative to butter. We like to use it on quick breads-such as zucchini bread or date-nut bread-or on muffins.
Why This Recipe Works
To make it easy to incorporate the ingredients into our Maple-Cinnamon Cream Cheese Spread, we softened the cream cheese at room temperature for at least one hour. Maple syrup and brown sugar added flavor and sweetness, and cinnamon contributed a welcome spiciness.
