Glazed Salmon with Dilly Mustard Sauce
For a fancy spring supper, salmon gets dressed up with a dilly mustard sauce.
Why This Recipe Works
Broiling is one of the easiest and best methods we’ve found for cooking salmon. The intense heat browns the exterior, but leaves the middle moist and juicy. For our Glazed Salmon recipe, we found that soy sauce combined with mustard and honey paired perfectly with the fish. Our broiler’s high heat quickly reduced the mixture to a sticky, sweet-salty glaze. We reserved a portion of the mustard and soy mixture, added fresh dill, and used it as sauce to serve alongside the salmon. We cooked the salmon until just opaque and barely firm, as it continued to cook a little once removed from the broiler.
