On the Road with Bryan Roof: How to Make Homemade Mayonnaise

What if I told you that you could whip up some homemade mayonnaise and not have to clean a greasy food processor afterward? Yes, it’s possible, and Cook’s Country’s Bryan Roof shows you how as a part of his video series, On the Road.

In the video, Bryan replicates a method shown to him by Filipino chefs Bobby Punla and Jan Dela Paz of Oakland’s pop-up restaurant Likha, demonstrating how you can emulsify the sauce with just a whisk.

Of course, the recipe, which you can watch in the video below, comes with one very important warning:

“When your arm feels like it’s about to fall off, you’ve just gotta fight through it,” Bryan mutters, teeth clenched and biceps bulging. “Every day is arm day at Cook’s Country.”
