Waldorf Chicken Salad

To boost the flavor of the mayonnaise in this Waldorf Chicken Salad recipe, we added a double punch of orange juice and orange zest. The acidity cut through the richness of the mayonnaise and accentuated the apple’s flavor. Walnuts added crunchy texture and a mild, pleasing bitterness to the salad. We toasted the nuts in a skillet over medium heat until lightly browned for the best flavor.
