Thai Chicken Soup

We love the bold flavors of Thai cuisine—namely ginger, cilantro, basil, and garlic—and found all of them and then some in this imaginative recipe. Here’s what we discovered when we made Judith Mack’s soup—a runner-up winner in our chicken soup recipe contest:

Test Kitchen Discoveries

  • We like using lime wedges for garnish, but for a more subtle citrus flavor, just add a dusting of lime zest over the soup before serving.
  • Rice noodles are best in this soup, but angel hair pasta will work, too.
